The Health Foundation of Greater Indianapolis does not accept unsolicited proposals. Collaborative by nature, The Health Foundation board of directors identifies relevant health issues and directs the staff to connect organizations to one another to create or enhance meaningful programs for low-income, underserved communities, either prior to providing financial resources or in tandem with monetary grants.
The Health Foundation has focused its funding in several areas since it was founded, most recently in the areas of childhood obesity, school-based health and HIV/AIDS.
